LiM 2013 - Lasers in Manufacturing (LiM)

The Lasers in Manufacturing (LiM) 2013 is a scientific conference that focuses on the latest developments as well as future trends in the field of Laser Material Processing. Dealing with Process Engineering, System Technology and Process Optimisation, the LiM 2013 addresses anyone
interested in the potential of lasers in theory and application. Organized by the German Scientific Laser Society (WLT), the conference will bring together international experts from research and industry in order to match scientific advances and economic needs for mutual benefit.

Preserving the well proven structure of past LiM conferences, next year’s LiM will consist of one sub-conference for macro and one for micro applications, featuring a planned more than 100 scientific and industrial papers to be presented in Munich from May 12th to 16th, 2013.

With a focus on Green Production, priority topics of the LiM 2013 will include laser material processing in E-Mobility, laser CFRP & lightweight materials processing, laser processes for a flexible automated mass production and Additive Laser Manufacturing for lightweight applications, besides others.
