specific plans for a future business commitment in the Far East. The
closing date for reserving a spot on the business trip is February 15,
2008.
The travel program includes various networking and information events
to help the participants create their individual China strategy. For

Shanghai which, for many German companies, is the gateway to the
Chinese market and offers a wide range of contacts. A reception at the
German embassy for all trip participants will offer further
opportunities for networking with important regional institutions and
contacts.
At the "Exhibitor Evening" to mark the opening of LASER.
World of Photonics China 2008, which is held together with the
exhibitors at electronica & ProductronicaChina 2008, those taking
part in the business trip will be able to meet the international
exhibitors from both trade shows. The events themselves, which will be
held from March 18 – 20, 2008, will show what these and other
companies have to offer in terms of technology and as potential
business partners: the travel group will have free entry to electronica
& ProductronicaChina 2008, the parallel events LASER. World of
Photonics China 2008, SEMICON China and CPCA China as well as the
accompanying conferences.
For trip participants who already intend to take initial concrete steps
toward setting up business in the Chinese market, Messe München,
in cooperation with "intec.net", the network for
international technology cooperation, will be offering an optional
additional event. For this cooperation event entitled “Germany
meets China", each of the German companies will create individual
profiles to identify suitable regional companies which will then be
invited to take part in face-to-face meetings. The purpose of the event
is to bring together potential business partners from both countries.
An additional option in the program for the business trip to LASER.

2008 will round off the information program for the trip and will
provide information on the business and production processes of an
international electronics company based in the Shanghai region.
