ROFIN introduces the new fiber laser PowerLine F30 Long Pulse system which is combining high drilling performance on silicon solar cells with the lowest cost of ownership. By using optimal pulse length, high pulse energy and high TEMoo average power, the ROFIN PowerLine F30 LP realizes processing speeds of less than 1 wafer/sec for trepanning drilling on MWT cells.

Typically MWT solar cells also require cell edge respectively via isolation. Another fiber based product, the Power Line F50 achieves best isolation values at the highest processing speeds with up to 1 m/s. This 50 Watt unit with pulse frequency up to 200 kHz extends the successful PowerLine F product family.
