Fiber-coupled multi-chip diodes from Laser Components produce up to 25
W of power at the fiber tip at 1470 nm, 1532 nm, and 1550 nm. An
excellent rate of efficiency of 50% reduces the electrical and thermal
system requirements. If necessary, three to seven laser diodes can be
combined into a 375 µm fiber bundle that has a numerical aperture
of 0.22. This system is also available upon request with a photodiode
and a 650 nm pilot laser.
The fiber tip is equipped with an optical FC, ST, or SMA connector.
