productronica 2009
Shedding light on productronica 2009

Measuring technology, quality assurance, soldering technology, photovoltaics - many areas of modern electronics manufacturing don't get by without “light”. Visit productronica – the world’s leading trade fair for innovative electronics manufacturing - from 10 to 13 November.

You will find products relevant to light, presentations or lectures at the productronica Forum (organized by ZVEI) and Innovation Forum (organized by VDMA) or at the exhibitors’ Hands-on Sessions.

Trade fair highlights:

YXLON International (Hall A2.330)  - Y.Cheetah X-ray system wins 'Best Practice Award 2009'
YXLON International has received the "2009 Global Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) X-Ray Inspection Equipment Product Innovation Award" from Frost & Sullivan for the technological and product innovations that have been integrated into Y.Cheetah, the new X-ray system from YXLON.

Carl Zeiss (Hall B3.146) - New Chip Fabrication Technology on the Verge of Volume Production
EUV lithography produces further miniaturization in integrated circuits. And in turn to microchips with performance rates still undreamt of today. Extremely short 13.5 nanometer light wave lengths are used here. The roughness of the mirror’s surface for the projection lens may not exceed that of a hydrogen atom in this respect.

Schmid Group (Hall B2.205) New crystalline solar cells with more efficiency and simpler process integration

Schmid in Freudenstadt uses a new printing and etching technology to produce crystalline solar cells with selective emitters. Read how "inline selective emitter cell technology" increases efficiency by up to 0.7 percent and can be easily integrated into the production process.
