The perfect combination - fast and safe for scratch-free parts

As a high-end system from Trumpf, it offers speed that has never been seen before in combination processing. Such speed is possible because – among other things – the machine has been built with flying optics for the first time. With additional axes in the X and Y direction, the laser cutting head can travel a good distance and can be positioned quickly. A high processing speed develops as a result of the interaction of the main axes. This high speed is particularly noticeable when detailed parts with complex contours are processed. In addition, a newly constructed laser flap considerably shortens part removal time.

One cutting head for everything
Due to the newly designed beam guidance, the TruMatic 7000 can process sheet metal in a variety of thicknesses using the same cutting head. Head changing is no longer necessary. The automatic nozzle changer also takes care of exchanging the nozzle for you. Nonproductive auxiliary processing times can be reduced, and every material with varying type and thickness can be cut in any sequence – and all of this is done comfortably without the need for operator intervention.

Avoid scratches
The TruMatic 7000 can be equipped with the active die which works from the bottom like a second punching head. The active die enables scratch-free punching and forming at an unrivaled speed. When you position the sheet metal, the die moves down so that it cannot touch the sheet. This is true for punching as well as for higher forming dies.
With the active die you expand the forming options of your TruMatic 7000. Higher upward forming can be actively performed in the sheet. In addition, the active die has room for larger tools and makes it possible to form closer to the clamps, because the sheet is always evenly supported. This results in higher material utilization and a reduced scrap.

The SheetMaster together with the additional laser axes allows you to simultaneously cut and remove up to four parts safely. It is equipped with four movable suction bars, each one consisting of up to 80 monitored suction cups. Thus, it is possible to remove even the smallest, detailed parts.

Supporting program for the LASER World of PHOTONICS 2013
The LASER World of PHOTONICS 2013, which will be taking place from 13 to 16 May 2013 on the Messe München site, will provide an important impetus to the international photonics industry at its 40th anniversary event. The world’s leading trade fair offers a comprehensive supporting program and numerous opportunities to exchange technical news and views. The program highlights are the World of Photonics Congress practical lectures in the Photonics forums, the presentation event “Photonic Industry Report 2013”, the new “Digital Photonics Production” special exhibition and other top-class events on everything to do with Photonics trends. Every two years, the world’s leading trade fair for the optical technologies, together with the World of Photonics Congress, brings together the global leaders of the photonics industry in Munich.
