Tampoprint
Laser engraving and tampon printing combined

The new automation for the laser marking and printing is a further development of the process to print rosettes/covers in one operation process where the distances of the single graphics are outside of the marking area which is limited by the objective.

The further development is the use of a highly precise X/Y/Z axis system which is designed for approx. 150 kg; this now allows to laser mark with register accuracy sanitary accessories (covers) with a length of approx. 300 mm! The combination of a tampon printing machine ("Concentra") with an integrated laser system allows to produce up to 5 different graphics in the "Laser&Print process" and additionally 5 pure laser engraving graphics in one operating process! The parameter entry for the tampon printing machine as well as for the laser system takes place centrally via a touch screen panel. In order to prepare for every workpiece a well arranged "recipe" with these very extensive sequences, a special user surface was created.

Advantages of this combined marking solution:
  • smaller number of pieces [batch size One]
  • with this line high-quality faucets/covers can be produced fully automatically and economically
  • only one cost-intensive workpiece carrier necessary
  • individual parameters for every tampon printing station up to different multiple prints are possible.
