For the first time ACI Laser is presenting a diode-pumped, solid-state
laser as a reasonably priced, entry-level laser labelling device. The
low investment costs make the laser tool even more attractive for all
kinds of marking and labelling tasks. The clear, individual labelling
of products is becoming more and more important in more and more
branches of industry. Laser labelling systems are increasingly
replacing such traditional labelling techniques as printing or
stamping. This is due not least to the precision with which a laser
operates. Laser material marking leaves lasting marks on nearly all
anorganic materials, such as metals, ceramics or plastics. With the
DPLSmart Marker the individual, high-contrast labelling of workpieces
of all conceivable shapes, even in smaller production runs, is no
longer a problem from the point of view of business efficiency.
At a price of €22,700 plus VAT for the new basic model, DPLSmart
Marker, ACI Laser GmbH is putting innovative technology within the
reach of smaller and medium-sized enterprises as well. Apart from the
low procurement costs, ease of operation, low operating costs (the
laser’s power requirement is less than 100 W), and the
accompanying graphically-oriented labelling software, are additional
points in favour of the DPLSmart Marker.
The extremely compact, all-in-one structure of ACI equipment is its
technical trademark. Everything that is required to operate the laser
components is integrated in a single housing. Via a USB interface the
self-contained, easily integrated module can be operated from any PC.
The flexible and user-friendly marking software controls the entire
laser system. This simple plug & play solution ensures a maximum of
user-friendliness. In combination with the WorkstationBASIC or any of
various protective housings a separate manual workplace in accordance
with Laser protection class 1 can be speedily set up. Special software
features, such as the ability to apply a barcode or data matrix code, a
rotary module integrated in the workstation, or the capacity to vary
the size of the labelling fields, are available to supplement the
system.
