With the new product line "Gaussian-to-Top Hat Converter" LIMO provides square beam profiles with Top Hat intensity distribution for typical TEM00 laser beam profiles. The production of smooth, u-shaped isolation grooves without outbreaks allows for the production of e.g. solar cells with significant improvement of quality and productivity. The intensity profile has been designed and optimized specifically to stabilize ablation. LIMO optic modules generate etc. 50ì m x 50 ì m spots with all typical laser sources at 266nm 355nm, 532nm and 1064nm and M²<1,4. A comprehensive line of accessories, incl. zoom-telescope multi-axis alignment holder and installation service, make sure that the Converter delivers good results in any environment.
