With its state-of-the-art ChiliLase, ModuLight produces a powerful cw
laser diode with up to 4 W in the red spectral range. This wide
emitter, multi-mode laser diode is extremely efficient (0.8 W/A) and
the wavelength has a low temperature dependence. The peak wavelength
emits in the range from 631 nm to 635 nm.
The ChiliLase comes on a CS mount or as a fiber-coupled module with an
output power of 3 W out of the fiber. The appropriate drive electronics
are also available as an option.
The ChiliLase is used in photodynamic therapy, in medical imaging and
diagnostics systems, in DPSS laser displays, in lighting, and in
process controlling.
