Innovation league Under the motto "the high-tech strategy of the federal government begins with the children," the Innovation League was created by the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) [Federal Ministry for Education and Research]. The 2008 OT Conference will kick off the new initiative. Partnerships between schools, companies and research institutes from optical technologies should reduce inhibition thresholds with regard to technology that are present among many students. The project work will additionally teach students which applications the technology makes possible, where they are used and which areas of application offer technical careers and how work is performed there.
