The EOS Conferences start on 17 June with a "Pre-programme" presenting the "MONA Nanophotonics Technology Roadmap". It is based on the European roadmap for photonics and nanotechnologies and explains the background of the process and the people involved. The MONA (Merging Optics & Nanotechnologies) meeting offers an overview of the highlights offered by this roadmap and an opportunity to discuss the next steps.
On 18 June the fist part of the "EOS Conference on Frontiers in Electronic Imaging" starts with "Application-Specific Image Sensors". Speakers from research and industry will give a fifteen-minute introduction to topics such as CMOS image sensors for medical applications (endoscopy), research or aeronautics. In half-hour "Invited Talks" they will discuss the "High-quality Imaging System with CMOS Image Sensors and the Application of Digital Still Imaging: CLAIRVOYANCE" or "Focal-Plane Image Processing with Neuromorphic Vision Systems". The second day of the conference, on 19 June, focuses on the three topics "Single-Photon Imaging", "Applications Based on the Single Photon Detection" and "High-Performance 3D Imaging".
The complete programme of the "EOS Conference on Frontiers in Electronic Imaging" and the "EOS Conference on Trends in Optoelectronics" is
