Knowledge that users such as product engineers and members of the sales staff can implement directly is offered by the "Industry Workshops", that take place for the first time this year. They use a seminar format and are scheduled from Tuesday, June 19th through Thursday, June 21st, 2007.

Users from the industrial sector will report on their experiences with the latest laser-based manufacturing techniques and participants will benefit from the speakers' know-how. Furthermore they will be able to discuss questions relating to their own business.

The workshop cover topics ranging from the latest applications in automotive manufacturing and its supplier sector to areas such as biophotonics, photovoltaics, micro-machining technology and innovations in medical-equipment manufacturing. The workshops will be held in the English language.
