In the workshop entitled "Advanced Solid State Lasers: Status, Prospects and Applications" the spotlight will be on the latest developments in the field of solid-state lasers. The programme takes place on Wednesday afternoon, June 20th and on Thursday morning June 21st, 2007 at the Photonics Forum in hall B2 at booth 371.

On Wednesday, the focus will switch to laser sources, and on Thursday, internationally renowned experts from research and industry coming from Germany, the USA, Great Britain, and Switzerland will present highly diverse fields of application for solid-state lasers.

This event is being organized by the Fraunhofer Institutes for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering (IOF), for Material and Beam Technology (IWS), for Laser Technology (ILT) and for Physical Measurement Techniques (IPM).
