JUNE 17, BIOPHOTONICS AND LIFE SCIENCES
Visions for future diagnostics

Wednesday, June 17 / 10:00 am–2:30 pm
Photonics Forum Hall B1, Stand 159

Chairman: Prof Dr. J. Popp, Institute of Photonic Technology/Univ. Jena
Lecture language: English

Biophotonics is a strongly growing discipline. However, the transfer of scientific knowledge into industrial products is hindered by a missing mutual understanding of users’ needs and technical possibilities. To help overcome this barrier, physicians will present their typical requirements in Oncology: Techniques for advanced cancer diagnostics, including improved typing, staging and grading of tumors. The aim of the workshops is to breakdown these requirements into defined “request chains” including full solutions, subsystems and components.
