Medical Laser Applications 2009 is organized by the German Society for Laser Medicine (DGLM) and is the leading scientific conference for laser applications in medicine in the German-speaking region. On UPDATE Day, the entire range of laser applications in the various medical specialty fields will be examined from diagnostic and therapeutic points of view. SCIENCE Day focuses on presentations about basic research. Medical Laser Applications 2009, which is clinically oriented, addresses both experienced clinical users and other ambitious visitors who are interested in gaining a profound overview of the latest studies and applications as well as researchers, students, graduates, graduate candidates, developers and industry professionals who want to gather information about and discuss innovative ideas and recent developments in experimental laser medicine (from in-vitro to in-vivo studies, clinical trials, technical progress). The objective is to create a forum for future contacts that effectively combines the experience that competent users and developers have acquired in established medical applications with that of young professionals, especially within the scope of education.
