One highlight among the special exhibits will be Photons in Production. The theme "Bright Light - Smart Systems" will be used to depict manufacturing techniques in live demonstartion, lectures and expert disucssions.

This special exhibit is being organized by the Chair for Manufacturing Technology (University Erlangen-Nuremberg), the Bavarian Laser Centre (Erlangen) and the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management (Technical University Munich) and Munich International Trade Fairs.
