Laser radiation is used for a number of applications in modern industry. Whether in automotive manufacturing, biotechnology, photovoltaics or the plastic industry, more and more laser-controlled manufacturing techniques are being used in quality control, to optimize processes and to automate production - and their importance is growing.
This jump from scientific technologies to actual applications is also the focus of the World of Photonics Congress that is held in conjunction with LASER. World of Photonics. For the first time, interactive Industry Workshops will be part of this year s World of Photonics Congress. The workshops will revolve around application-oriented content that establishes a link between theory and practice.
Industry experts will give presentations on the latest manufacturing techniques and report on their experiences with the latest applications. The following Industry Workshops will take place:
