Due to the high number of posters shown at the World of Photonics Congress the physical poster topics change every day. But all posters are available electronically at our ePoster Terminal in the Internet Area on-site where they can be printed as well.

Web Database

The program of the entire World of Photonics Congress is available in the internet soon. The database offers versatile search functions and supports the composition of your individualized congress schedule that you can transmit to your PDA. The database provides information about all lectures and posters of a specific topic as well as the information about exhibitors at the show related to your inquiry.

Trade show ticket

From June 18–21, 2007 the LASER 2007. World of Photonics exhibition is held in conjunction with the World of Photonics Congress. The registration for the World of Photonics Congress includes an all-week entrance to the trade show. No other exhibition presents as many innovative optical technologies together with their fields of application across a range of industrial sectors—or in short: as “light at work”.

The entrance ticket is included in the registration fee.

Career Center

In the “Career Center“ university graduates, young professionals and employees in the photonics industry can inform themselves about career opportunities and job offers in the photonics industry and start a direct dialogue with companies in search of staff. On Monday 18 June the consulting company udo wirth offers support for your application documents. Make your personal appointment on-site in
the “Career-Center“ (booth EW.700) from 10.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

W-LAN Lounge and Internet Area

All attendees of the congress have free access to the internet in the internet area on the groundflour of the ICM or with their own laptop in the W-LAN Lounge on the 1st floor. The access times for the W-LAN Lounge are from 8:00–18:00.

All attendees of the World of Photonics Congress are invited to attend free coffee-breaks.

Between the coffee breaks a number of gastronomy facilities are available. Depending on the weather the biergarden outside will be opened.
