We will describe a laser system that will produce peak power at the exawatt
1018W/cm2 level. It will usher in a new regime in optics: the ultra-relativistic
regime, that will succeed to the already successful regime of relativistic optics.
All attendees of the World of Photonics Congress as well as all visitors and exhibitors of LASER 2007. World of Photonics are happily welcome. |
